Crash site photos are provided for those who wish to visit the location. Photos were taken by friends who visited the site. Markings on the roadway were made by crash scene investigators.
| Photo 1. Sherri was westbound on Highway 100. After passing Spence Mill Road and Pinewood Road, she was struck near the top of a hill. Both vehicles then traveled eastbound an estimated 75 yards until running off the raised road embankment. |
Photo 2. When struck, the Tennessee Highway Patrol said Sherri was "in the center of her lane," and the truck had crossed the double yellow lines and likewise was "in the center of her lane."

| Photo 3. After being struck, both vehicles traveled eastbound toward Pinewood Road. From the truck driver's point of view, both vehicles crossed over the double yellow lines through the truck driver's lane, and off the south road embankment. THP stated, "The motorcyle was pinned under the truck when the vehicles stopped." (In this photo, people are standing where the vehicles came to rest.) |
Photo 4. (From Sherri's viewpoint.) After the impact both vehicles traveled eastbound and crossed the double yellow lines. Crime scene investigators marked the path of the vehicles. This photo shows the point of impact to where the vechiles' path approached the center line. |
